Constant Random Disconnects? everyday

Hi,

As stated in title when gaming or doing anything else in general, all computers and wifi connects drop and its a repeated cycle of "connect > disconnect > reconnect" as someone who playing highly competitive game's being disconnect constantly is a huge disadvantage. when i pay for a big package currently getting 170mb down and 12up.

When you disconnects happen i check router status afterwards and its mostly

Error - 82000400

i cleared the log by accident when i tried to hit refresh but there was too other's there same day and time with Critical (3)

I am also still on superHub which was installed around 6 -7 years ago when we first switched to VM

There is something wrong as this happens on a daily basis anytime during the day, and i don't believe that VM are doing maintenance every single day at random times.

Re: Constant Random Disconnects? everyday

Might be worth calling up to see if you can get an upgrade to the superhub 3 if you have an original superhub and it is causing you issues.

Re: Constant Random Disconnects? everyday

Hi Rian515,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to see you have had trouble with your connection.

I have taken a look and things seem to be ok from this side. It may help to try the following so we can rule some things out:

Pop the hub into Modem Mode with the computer in Safe Mode with Networking at different times of the day.

Try on separate devices.

Check Ethernet cable. Make sure it is new / up to date. (Cat 5e or above).

Make sure device is capable of agreed speed.

Check wireless card slide.

Take care.

 Emma

Re: Constant Random Disconnects? everyday

Assume that was a self install of the SH3 as part of your 350 upgrade. ?

Suggest :-

-  check coax is tightly screwed into SH3

- setup a BQM and post results here (change hub settings to respond to icmp Ping)

- post a fresh set of stats for power levels, logs, and firmware version
