Connection drops briefly but ruins everything

I have a SH3 and regardless of if I'm using Ethernet or wireless my connection will drop every so often, sometimes when it drops I can still hear people talking over discord but they can't hear me which suggests and upload problem and other times its entirely gone and sometimes the entire router will start flashing and be down for a few minutes. It's been doing this pretty much since I got it a couple of years back but its worse sometimes and for the past few weeks its been horrible.

I can't deal with it anymore it'll lose connection for seemingly only a few seconds before it comes back up but I'll lose all the progress in my games or fail the level completely or wreck everyones time if I'm host. I've disconnected in game 5 times alone today finally giving up when I got kicked out of my solo game of vermintide 2 I have no idea what to do to fix this I've tried all the steps on this site like resetting and checking other devices but it goes down on all of them. I'll post my downstream and upstream channels in case that helps.

Re: Connection drops briefly but ruins everything

Same here, it looks like a common problem with VM watching only the lats posts.

If you can find a solution, let me know.

Re: Connection drops briefly but ruins everything

They sent an engineer out and hes made it a lot better, I've spotted the router flipping out while I was making dinner once and lost my upload briefly but not to the point of being kicked from a game once in the couple of days since and I would usually be disconnected several times a night.

Doubt the solution would work for everybody though he replaced my isolator cable with a cable that doesn't have the little transformer box on it because he said my connection didn't need it because there was already one in the wall socket. Then he replaced the ancient splitter isolator thing from the wall and replaced it with a new one, I guess if your wall box says ntl: on it like mine a new splitter might help. Other than that he said he changed some wireless settings to better suit the property but I have no idea what those were so if i ever have to do a factory router reset I guess those will be gone but that hopefully wont effect the wired connection.
