ntlworld.com email addresses to close

I have been told by Virgin Media today that they will be shortly writing to tell me that my ntlworld.com email address will be shut down.   Apparently they will be offering an alternative e-mail address for all those affected.

I am furious.    This is the e-mail address I have had for 15+ years and is attached to literally hundreds of things and making any changes will personally take me many many days to sort.  I have already voiced my thoughts to Virgin Media and raised a complaint but just letting others know who may be in the same position

I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusion over your email account.

If you the email address is associated with an active account there shouldn't be an issue.

So I can double check things for you, I've popped you over a private message (purple envelope, top right hand corner)
