@scouseuk - Appy did ask a perfectly reasonable question. If I had a pound for every post on here from users who DON'T have an active broadband account, I'd be a rich man lol - So while the question may appear dumb, it is valid.
We would however like to help get to the bottom of this. To do that we do need to ask some questions.
When you are being told the password is wrong, how exactly are you accessing your email. via a Web Browser or via an email program?
Only use Helpful answer if your problems been solved.
I wonder if you're using the old blueyonder settings?
Note this (taken from our help pages):
Your e-mail software may previously have been set up to use a computer-generated, non-personalised username such as at003c6326. This username format is now being replaced by the entire e-mail address for the primary alias on each of your mailboxes, e.g., email@example.com. If you use a mailbox that has no aliases assigned to it, the username will remain as the computer-generated version, but will still need to end with the domain name, e.g., firstname.lastname@example.org.
