e-mails to Talk Talk

e-mail messages from my blueyonder e-mail address are not being received by Talk Talk. I can receive but not send. Has anybody else had that problem? If so how was it resolved?

Are your emails being received by other parties or is it just mails to TalkTalk that are affected?

Has the TalkTalk user checked their Spam Folder?

Are you using the correct settings to send?

It is only Talk Talk

They have checked their spam

Yes settings are OK

If your emails are going out to other domains then the problem is most likely occurring between Virgin Media and TalkTalk's servers.

It's even possible that Virgin Media are the victim of TalkTalk graylisting their servers, which may mean that the email will be delivered later or will eventually time out and you will get a message failed error in a few days time.

Virgin's Forum Team can escalate this for investigation, but it can take them up to 7 days to reach the thread.

Are you sending the emails via webmail or a mail program?  If the latter - which?

I am using Outlook on my computer and whatever is on my i-pad

If you send a message to the same person using Web mail - does it get through?

Web mail uses different outbound SMTP servers than those used by email programs.
