cant setup email

On our wavelength

Email on VM is ok, but the same address on Thunderbird, and l just can't seem to setup it up. I go through ===, email address, and password but when go to connect to the server it comes back with "try your email or password are wrong".(IN A GREEN FLASH) But I know its right because it works in VM.

Try resetting the account's password to see if that helps by  signing in to My Virgin Media | Virgin Media, select Update settings > Account details > Edit (located adjacent to Password) and enter new password

I've got the account details, I have got two addresses the first one I'm meant to have, and the second one I've tried to cancel but it is still there. So i tried to change the name to one I wanted but it wouldn't change either. You assumed I was going to change the main, I WASN'T it was the second one.

Oh dear, now I've changed my email address I DIDNT WANT TO DO THAT. Can I talk to you PRIVATELY??????

I would like to change them back to where they were, 2 emails, no1 should be as it was for years AND the second one
According to their email (virgin), they have changed it FROM TO which l DONT want.

The original problem I had was I was trying to get email on MY computer as well (the same as it is now on before the name change)

Sorry if l sound miffed I've had a stroke and am trying to type this with LH only.
