denied access to my username and password ,tel. vm over a wk ago ,given new password,temp.until i change it , still cannot access my a/c plus been with vm for years and username has never been changed,

Have you tried following the forgotten password link?
If this doesn't work and you are still having an issue, call the team again as they may need to refer this to IT.
