Using Outlook 2016 suddenly one accounts of my ntlworld accounts gets "Unable to log on to the incoming imap server". Other ntlworld account using the same settings has no problems.
Have checked imap and smtp settings on both accounts and they are identical.
Password has not changed.
Repair account does not work.

The first thing that I would try is resetting the password for the email address concerned.
Sign in to My Virgin Media, go to My Profile and/or Manage Accounts depending on whether the account concerned is your primary account or an additional one. Select the account concerned and then click on Change to the right of password if a primary account or View/Change then change to the right of password for secondary accounts.

Thanks for your help. Last night I did not get a chance to change the password. This morning I have no problems.
