Would be useful if these outages could actually be posted onto the main service status page then we wouldn't have to scratch our heads.
That be well and good if it were a planned outage or even a fault that Virgin Media was aware of. For my part I was checking something else around 12.00 and the IMAP server wouldn't connect initially but it did connect shortly after at around 12:03
