Unable to access mailbox

Hi, I seem to have suddenly lost access to my emails. It is using an old @ntlworld.com email, I am still a paying customer with VM.

 

I have seen messages online saying the account gets locked if it hasn't been accessed in 90 days, however I was able to access my emails yesterday but today I am getting the following error.

 

Your mailbox is not available at the moment.

Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices.

If the problem continues, please call our team for help on 150 from a Virgin Media phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone and select option 2. For details about how much it costs to call our team from a Virgin Media home phone, visit virginmedia.com/callcosts. Call costs from other networks and mobiles vary.

 

 

I have waited several hours and it's still showing the message when logging into web mail. I have reset my password to see if it would unlock my account, but no joy their either. I also rang the number but unfortunately the help on the other end didn't seem to know how to log into ntlworld account or didn't understand and had me googling questions but we didn't manage to get anywhere.

The VM Forum Team should be able to help you with this when they reach this thread.  Current response times are around ten days due to heavy demand.
