Is this service down?
This is the response I am getting when trying to access the Filter Rules.
Getting so much spam these days especially ones claiming to be from VM that I want to set up a rule that only allows emails from @virginmedia.co.uk.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there @Rhothgar
Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the forums, it's great to have you here.
I am so sorry that you are facing this issue with your email filter settings. Can I ask if the settings are unable to be changed in both web and client mail?

Hi
Thanks for replying.
However, I do not understand what you mean by client mail?
Do you mean in a Client app like Mail on iOS? If so, I wouldn't even know how to access those settings on there.
I only ever use Webmail for accessing these settings.
If there is some easier way, it would be good to know.
Thanks.

Hi @Rhothgar,
That's correct, by client email we'd be referring to a third party app/programme such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc. Thanks for clarifying that you only use the webmail platform on our website.
What browser are you using? Can you try a different browser to see if that helps at all?
Thanks,

I've tried Safari after clearing ALL cookies and browsing history data. It made NO difference whatsoever.
However, normally I use Chrome. I have not cleared cookies or browsing data in there as I do not want to and have no need to as the Safari test proves.
As an aside, I do not see how you could access the email filter rules in Outlook for Virgin Media unless it is possible to actually create filter rules in a client app that will work on the VM email?

Thanks for the reply @Rhothgar 👋🏼
Are you able to try Microsoft Edge and see if the email rule works on there?
Let us know and we can assist from there.
Kind regards,
Ilyas.

It doesn't even recognise my password. Just keeps kicking me out on Edge, Ilyas.

All seems to working at our side with this @Rhothgar
What happens when you try to change the filter rules when on private/incognito?

The Outook rules will only apply after the emails have been delivered to your local PC. So you collect all the emails and during this download the Outlook client will process any rules you have in place. Your Inbox can be easily purged of spam during this initial download phase.
