[MOD EDIT: Email address has been removed from this post.

Emails along those lines have been doing the rounds for years and Virgin Media have posted warnings on many similar examples on the Security Matters section of this Forum.

Here's a link to a number of them https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Security-matters/Latest-Phishing-News-15-10-2021/td-p/4843707  and here https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Security-matters/Latest-Phishing-News-13-10-2021/td-p/4842381

You should forward that email to phishing@virginmedia.com and then delete it from your account.

If it gets blocked and your are unable to send it that means VM have already added it to their spam filters. 😉

By the way, I have reported your post to the Forum Moderators so they can redact the sending address. Someone could have had their Gmail account hacked and be an innocent victim in this affair.

Thank you 😊

We're really glad to hear that you were able to recognise this as such. As per Coenoby, we will always update our security board with the ones we are aware of and you can find this here
