Refreshing and Unable To Send Attachments

Hi

Recently upgraded to Windows 11 on my PC

When using my blueyonder.co.uk account, the pages are constantly refreshing (3 ... are displayed). I then see connection error message. And when deleting mails, the screen refreshes and on returning to my inbox, the deleted emails remain. Similar when i compose new messages.

And i can no longer add attachments to mails. When i do, the following error is returned:

Error

200 SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

My broadband speed is 200mb, so not as if that is a slow connection
If i use my gmail account (which i rarely do), mail and attachments are fine

Not sure if this is an issue with Windows 11 and blueyonder. PS: i also have AVG Pro running for protection

Hi Jeff2311,

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry to hear that since you have upgraded to Windows 11 you are unable to send attachments using your Blue yonder email address.

Can we ask if your using web mail or client mail? If you're using client mail. can you use web mail and see if the same thing is happening?

After looking into this, we have found another community post which is very similar to yours and may offer you some insight to what is causing the issue. https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/My-virgin-webmail-will-no-longer-allow-me-to-send-attachm...

Kind regards Jodi.

Hi Jodi

Appreciate the fast response. Web Mail or Client Mail? Not sure how i can check. This is the URL i use to sign on:

I will contact AVG support. Thanks you very much

Thank you for your reply Jeff2311, it looks like you are using Web Mail to access the service.

Have you been able to contact AVG Support since your last post?

Thanks,

Nat

Have contacted them this morning. I will provide an update as to what they need to do

Resolved!

The issue was indeed with AVG Antitrack and i needed to add a website to allow them to run

Attachments now OK

Refreshing OK

Deleting mails ok

We disabled AVG and antitrack. But still got the JSON error message. Then added the website as below, and hey presto, working now

AVG were most helpful, responding to my support ticket immediately. Thanks also for posting the link. Without it, they were saying it wasn't AVG
