I am also unable to access my email account (ntlworld). Was running fine until Friday afternoon and now i cant access my emails.

Can you confirm that you have a current Virgin Media broadband account to which the email address is attached?
What error message do you get when trying to access the email account via VM webmail?

Yes, linked to a broadband account. getting the following message

That message usually means that the email account has been locked for security reasons.
The VM Forum Team should be able to help you when they reach this thread.
Whilst waiting for them please try changing the password to a new one not previously used via your My Virgin Media account.
