Re: Unable to log into webmail

Using Chrome and 'favourite links' I am unable to connect to my emails. A blue screen with the message "Connection error. The service is not available at the moment. Retry." appears.  After speaking to the 150 helpline yesterday, and changing my password as suggested - which didn't work - I was told that there was a problem and it would be resolved soon.  It hasn't been.

I tried some other things:

Not using a favourites link - didn't solve it.

Using Microsoft browser - this did give access to browser but not to favourites (of course).

Please advise or take necessary 'unlocking' action to restore my email service through Chrome.

Re: Unable to log into webmail

Oh FPS

Why on earth would 150 tell you to change the password for this?

The Blue screen means what it says.  There is an error connecting to the server.  However from personal experience, I've found that this can sometimes be caused by a cookie issue, which causes the server to end up timing out.  Clearing cookies has fixed this for me.

If you are using Chrome you can delete just the mail cookies.

Assuming here that you are using Chrome:

In your browser type chrome://settings/siteData

In the top right of the screen you'l see Search cookies.  Type in mail2

Click the Trashcan icon next to the results.

That should fix your specific problem.
