Does the issue occur in Firefox when  in Private browsing mode; press Ctrl + Shift + P? No, then clear Virgin Media's cookies from browser's data cache.

I don't know but I cleared recent history which seemed to resolve it then it came back yesterday did the same to no effect, so I called CS and at that time it was an issue with the system. Resolved! After that had no further issues - yet!!
