I’ll be moving house soon so will terminate my Broadband agreement with VM, at least for a short while.

Will my email address by impacted or can I still use it?

@beano  Yes, if your email address is a virginmedia one (or blueyonder/nltworld/virgin.net) it will be impacted.  You should be able to access it via an email client for up to 90 days after your broadband account is closed.  Thereafter the email address and associated mailbox will be permanently deleted.

when you leave VM you get approx 90 days to backup/change your email (@virginmedia @ntlworld @blueyonder) otherwise its gone for good.

you should never use an ISP email service for anything other than your ISP, get a gmail or outlook for anything thats important

some folk have reported their email is still in use years after leaving, but its no guarantee
