More emails are going into spam

Has someone changed settings at Virginmedia? Far more emails are going into spam than usual. I even sent tests email to myself which ended up in spam. That does not normally happen.

@Paul_DN, same was previously suggested by Akua_A here and RoyCa confirmed it did not help.

Thanks for all the advice. However, I have decided to make a little-used Virginmedia email as my main email which does not have these problems and forward all the emails from my Ntlworld to it. It is far easier to remember and will gradually become my default email.

Maybe consider expending the time migrating to a non-ISP/Virgin Media email account instead to benefit from:

  • not fearing loss of email address when switching ISP
  • security equal to or greater than the services it is used with
  • better spam filtering
