Manage associated email accounts - has this capability been lost?

I have seen a few threads on this - seems that while I used to be able to manage my (up to 9) email addresses for family etc. from my account page, I now can't do this? The accounts are working OK at the moment, but what for example if I want to delete or set up a new one associated with my main account? Is this really as crap as it seems? Harumph

@strafft Yes, the way additional accounts are managed has changed.

If you want to delete an additional account you can still do this from the primary My VM account.

Since May 2022 VM have removed the option to create additional email addresses.  New customers do not get a VM email address at all.

Password and security answer changes for additional email addresses are now made via the specific My VM account for the address concerned as explained below.

  • Each email address now has its own My VM account

Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.

Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Account Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

Thanks - at least I now understand it - even if not happy with it!
