Hi - first time posting but I really am at a loss and wondered if anyone can help me.
I’ve created a new email address (last week) but the mailbox is unavailable. Have called Virgin Media and the only advice was to wait an hour and try again. I have waited and retried for some days now. I have reset the password as I read that advice here.
I am not sure how to raise a ticket but have seen that mentioned here too.
I am really at a loss and would be so truly grateful for some help.
I have tried different web browsers and devices. It’s still unavailable. I can sign in to the account but when I go to the email it says mailbox is unavailable and to wait an hour and try again.
Calling 150 gets me nowhere. Judging from all the messages I’ve seen this is a widespread issue affecting many. How do we find out if Virgin Media are aware? The call handlers are certainly unaware as the same advice is given in rather a pressing manner, which is to wait an hour and try again. That doesn’t work - each time I’m told they’ve reset and to wait - it doesn’t work.
@TheShawyers Whilst there are undoubtedly a lot of reports of similar issues VM have already checked there are no systemic technical issues causing them. In every case they have looked at the problem has been account specific.
