Hi SO65,
Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.
So sorry for any issues faced with regards to your email.
From checking our service I can't see any settings etc. that would directly affect any device from sending mail.
Can I ask whether the recommended tasks above have helped your issue?
Thanks,

Do other devices work?

Both email IDs on different phones dont work, but if using webmail on the same device, it works!

What error does your Android device report? Is it configured to use the recommended settings following:
Account type | IMAP | POP3 | |
Username | richard.branson@virginmedia.com | richard.branson@virginmedia.com
Server port | 993 | 995 | |
Authentication | Password | Password
SSL/TLS | Yes | Yes | |
Server host | imap.virginmedia.com | pop3.virginmedia.com |
Account type | SMTP |
Username | richard.branson@virginmedia.com |
Server port | 465 |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Server host | smtp.virginmedia.com |

Try the following troubleshooting steps:
If the issue occurs on other devices and those happen to include a desktop or laptop then it would be helpful to see what, if any, error code is returned by the SMTP server in this situation. Open a Command Shell or Terminal window and enter the following where username:password is replaced with your email address and password, i.e. richard.branson@virginmedia.com:Y54kpX5g:
curl -v smtps://smtp.virginmedia.com -u username:password
Do not post the resulting output here but instead review it for possible reported causes and then post just the redacted part here or the VM error code.

Try the following in Windows:
curl -s smtps://smtp.virginmedia.compress Enter key to execute command

curl -sv smtps://smtp.virginmedia.com -u username:password

I will reiterate, do not post the curl command line or its output here without first redacting it or just post the VM error code.
