I have 2 error messages on my mail account, when trying to access from the my virgin media app. I get the message that my inbox is not available.

when trying to access from my iOS devices I  am told that there is no password for virginmedia, these have been reset by virgin media help desk but are still inaccessible.

Sorry to hear of the issues you've been experiencing with our E-Mail account

Can you please advise me if you're an active Virgin Media subscriber and if you're the account holder?

Yes I have an active account, and I am the account holder

This issue is now fixed, signed in to account using Firefox browser and I was able to update passwords, there seemed to be an issue signing in from Google on my iOS 15 device.

Thanks for the update @Gannin, and I'm pleased to hear this has now been resolved
