Re: How can I block a whole domain? i.e. clialiedge.com

I've just sent them three more mails that I've received today.  All from AWS IP addresses too.

@ModTeam

Would you consider asking your postmaster to raise this with Amazon directly?

Clearly they have a problem.  They're either letting their customers send spam, or their customers have been hacked.

Re: How can I block a whole domain? i.e. clialiedge.com

I keep gettinng spam from this domain and I am wondering why "mark as spam" is not achieving any action by VM

I can't be the only one doing it? and I'm getting cross!

Read this thread. We've pushed this further forward to get VM to consider what else they might do. Not just VM affected. MS Outlook.com is getting hit too.

You should see an improvement in filtering this rubbish from today with anything from this domain going into your spam folder. VM Security have been active on this. Please let the Forum know if this isn't happening.

Re: How can I block a whole domain? i.e. clialiedge.com

raysoutdoor.com.au actually appears to be a legitimate domain that's being used by the spammers now.

Looking at the domain it appears to have SPF but no DMARC records.  It is otherwise following the same MO is the previous emails.

Re: How can I block a whole domain? i.e. clialiedge.com

Thanks for the advice Ravenstar 68. After following your advice (3 pronged attack), I no longer appear to be getting spam from the clialiedge domain.

Now though, I get loads of spam from numerous outfits using the sysprem.com domain which I have also blocked. Ah well, just keep emptying the spam & trash folders as part of my daily routine.
