Greyed out email with lines

Hi

My email was hacked recently and i have managed to gain access back to it. I have changed my password etc..

When i now login to my email i notice some emails in the inbox are greyed out with 2 lines through them, What does this mean?

Some email clients using IMAP can either move deleted emails to the Trash folder immediately or just mark them as deleted but leave them where they are for permanent deletion later. The latter is the reason for what you are seeing.

As advised above, this can be when the emails are being processed for deletion.
