I received the following email this afternoon and wondered if it is genuine please.

Starting From 21th Of March, 2022,

All customers whose email accounts ending with @ ntlworld.com that are yet to update their account will no longer be able to log in via their respective email address due to recent security upgrades.

Fake.  It is a phishing scam similar to the latest reported by the security team here:
