Issue has been flagged to the forum team however be aware it can take them a few hours / days to respond. Whilst waiting can you confirm if the issue occurs when browsing in Incognito / Private mode; if not then try clearing virginmedia.com cookies from the browser's data cache.
BTW: consider seeking a refund to whatever ongoing plan you have entered into with Gadget Rescue if the only impetus for it was this issue.

Bottom line is customers with this issue need to get a ticket raised and press for early conclusion via the forum and 150 line (if you have the heart, time and low enough starting level blood pressure) and try getting in via a different "gateway" to VMs web-site if that is the way you are trying to access emails. (eg MS mail, MS outlook, Mozilla thunderbird or other email "clients"......this worked a dream for me and at least one other afflicted on the forum.
