Entire Blueyonder inbox downloading to Outlook

I have a blueyonder email account that is set to download emails to Outlook on my PC.

Suddenly this morning my entire email Inbox is downloading to Outlook - all 17000+ emails. Why is this happening and how do I stop it ?

Same happened to me via Outlook this morning. I thought I'd just hit the wrong key but perhaps not. I quickly closed Outlook once I noticed and it seemed ok once opened again but it did take some time to delete them all again!

Mine did eventually stop but then it took a while to delete them all !

I checked with the IT guy I use when I have problems and he said that Virgin have/are having problems with emails at the moment. I did wonder if someone at Virgin had hit the wrong button lol;lol
