I did as you said and it worked for my XP computer using chrome
I'm aware that this issue seems to have abated, thanks to those who helped,but am attempting to find out what may have caused this. Quick question to those who were affected:
Did you have mail forwarding set up at the time?
Have been experiencing the same problem all day using Chrome - switched to Firefox and my Virgin Mail is back to normal.
Just had this myself in Edge. Logged off and back on fixed the problem in this instance.
