Can someone help I keep getting emails telling me to update my email account I got one this morning saying I had to update by the the24th of I will not be able to log on to email after that date Is this a genuine email or just a scam

They are scams similar to those alerted to by VM Security here: Latest Phishing News 21/01/2022 - Virgin Media Community - 4917877
