Since yesterday all of my devices including ipad, PC and Android phone have said that the password for my blueyonder email account is wrong but I haven't changed a thing. Therefore I can't send or receive emails. The advice on the Virgin media website says that I should change my email password by going into my account settings>account details then tap 'Manage' under 'Virgin Media Mail'. These last 2 options do not exist in my account. I can't even access my webmail as it says the password is wrong. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Just to clarify, To follow those instructions you need to sign into your "My Virgin Media" account not your VM email account.

Enter your VM email address and then the email password here https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media  That will open the My Virgin Media account linked to your VM email account. Then follow those instructions.

You also need to be aware that you while in that My Virgin Media account will need to

  1. supply a non VM email address, such as a Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo email account to become the username for your VM webmail and My Virgin Media account going forward.
  2. generate a VM Mail App password to use as the passowrd in your email apps rathne than the one you use in the VM website. That will be in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (4 words separated by a hyphen)

VM introduced those new requirements some time ago to improve the security of their email accounts.
