I am trying to set up email on a new device and need to know the password. I cannot find ANYWHERE to set this up! The Virgin Media web page just directs me to reset the password for the Virgin Media account and although i have sent a text to the helpdesk, I am still waiting for a reply 12 hours and 15 minutes later!
The e-mail password is identical to the password you use to log into My Virginmedia, if this is your primary account. You do not create the password within the e-mail system, whether you use an e-mail program or you access via VM's web mail system. IF you have created a secondary account in My Virginmedia then the password for that e-mail address is the password you set when you created the address. If you have forgotten the password you will have to use the forgotten password link in VM web mail to reset the password . Your password us never visible.
