Email error

Hi I have been receiving mail this morning and then suddenly have received this message.

I have not changed anything, can someone please advise urgently in case my email has been hacked.

The error was:
Your email accountxxx@virginmedia.com was disabled due to invalid credentials. Please edit the account and enter correct credentials to enable it again.

I reset the password through my VM account and can now log in again. Looking at the threads, there are a number of customers experiencing the same issue.
