Have you tried using a different browser? I've seen that message recently trying to access Virgin Media email using Opera as a browser. Accessing exactly the same email page via Edge worked fine. Go figure!

Is this occurring when using webmail or other email client?
What error messages are you seeing; redact before posting here?

It says this site can’t be reached. Email.Virgin media.com took too long to respond. Try again (with no response too)
Also says bad request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
Neither message had been received before couple of days ago and has been working well for years.
Thank you for any help

Does the issue still occur when using your browser's Incognito / Private mode? if not then clearing the browser's data cache should resolve the issue however be aware that doing so may mean:
Should further help be needed with clearing the data cache then post back here with detail of browser name and device it is running on.

You're very welcome. I provide 'tech support' to my father-in-law who is 90. His background is in teaching mathematics and theoretical computing and even he struggles with all the nonsense we have to put up with regarding 'this doesn't work with that for no apparent reason'.
I thought I'd have a look at what Virgin Media recommend as browsers. See https://www.virginmedia.com/blog/internet-browsers/best-browser-for-windows
Opera and Firefox are on the list. Neither work with Virgin Media's site if you want to do something as basic as changing your email password! Ditto, you can't submit a Virgin Media complaint 'web form' using Firefox.

Hi chp6ph1 thanks for getting back to us.
Just to clarify, do you now consider the issue you've raised to be resolved? Another method that is often successful is deleting the browser history and cache. You would be surprised how often that works.
