Email Search

I am unable to use the Search Box at the top left of the screen . So cannot search for key words or names of senders, etc. Any ideas?

Webmail's search function is best described as inadequate as it fails to provide the basic ability to search outside of the current folder, i.e. you cannot search across folders and / or subfolders ― use an email client instead for a better experience, for example use Thunderbird or similar client.

If webmail's inadequate search functionality meets your needs then when searching you should see a drop down list of possible options, for example as shown below:


If the search text can be interpreted as a date value then an as date option will be shown in the drop down list.

The function as you describe it was not working for me yesterday (it had worked in the past) but all well today.
