Email Account Set up on Samsung note 8, phone says that it can't open a connection to server

despite numerous attempts I'm unable to access my blueyonder email account on the Note 8. I've had the blueyonder account for a veeerrrryyy long time so I know that there's nothing wrong with that. It says that the server is blueyonder.co.uk & the port is 110, security type is STARTTLS.

I have a Gmail account on the Note 8 which works smoothly with no problems

I don't use email on a phone, but does this link help? Especially message 9 within that?
