Virgin have been deleting addresses that are not attached to active broadband accounts. Did you ever have a break in service or move house?
If you still have an active (paid for) VM broadband account, it is possible that the email access can be fixed or transferred. Wait here for a member of the Forum Team (VM employees) who can assess the situation and deal with this. It can take a few days or a week, as they deal with posts in date order.
Thanks for noticing my post, however it would be best for you to remove the "helpful post" setting, as that makes it look like your problem is completely solved. I think you can do that through post options.
There is no known issue with access for active account and I wonder if your email address is linked to your current VM account? Or perhaps you've had or will have an email from Internet Security if there's an issue?
