Hi, my email account will not allow me to send emails from my ipad although it receives them without issue. I have ensured that all the settings are correct as per other posts but I continue to receive the message : Cannot Send Mail. The username or password is incorrect.
This is not the case as I have checked and rechecked the details.
Have you tried the advice in this thread - deleting and resetting require extra steps on an apple product as it remembers the wrong server info (IIRC). If you have done that, please come back and advise and we'll see if any other community users have more ideas.
I'm so glad it worked for you - those pesky apple products! I had a lot of fun with husband's iPad a few years ago and had to reset things every few days - it took me ages to figure out. Luckily it hasn't happened for a long while.
