Can't send emails AGAIN!

I posted about this a few months ago and it's happening again....

I can download emails - they're coming through ok - then I go to try and reply and it's just not working saying the server is unreachable and error messages coming up.

Any one else having this problem?

Sadly worse than that Outlook cannot connect 'Server not responding' using IMAP/SMTP....

Sorry I don't understand - is this a problem via Virgin or my computer?  Is it being fixed or am I going to have to throw my computer through the window Smiley Mad

Like you I had a problem only I could not even download my emails, fortunately for me it seems to have magically resolved itself..

Mine was appalling yesterday all day, then worked fine this morning and now is back to not working again this afternoon.

This is my work email believe it or not - it would be quicker to handwrite it and deliver it in person.

This does seem to happen from time to time and is usually only a brief outage, sometimes only a matter of minutes.  If the symptoms persist for longer then more reports will come in and VM can then be asked to investigate the matter.

Can you just clarify the work email bit.  Is the address that you are having issues with a virginmedia.com (or one of the legacy domains)? Or is the issue with your work's emails and servers?

Just tried it again and it's working ok now.  It is often a temporary problem, but it's really annoying!
