Can't reset password - need VM help

Sorry,  I know there are already posts about this subject but I need to reset my password as my account has been locked.  I can't access the email inbox my VM was set up with because this was my old email address prior to set up with Virgin.  Getting more and more frustrated that I can't access my email account.  Please help VM as I can't find any way to get through to you.  Thanks

Assuming the email address is linked to a current Virginmedia broadband account, you should be able to reset it by following the instructions here:

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/manage-email-account

Hello Ayisha_b not been able to access my emails as the email address that is the user name is one I used prior to switching to virgin email so I am just going round in circles and need help.  Please can you message me to tell me what I can do to get access to emails as I am desperate to get access.  Thanks

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.

Hello VM,  I am still unable to access my emails and it is affecting my finances and personal affairs now.  I have tried to follow your instructions but nothing happens.  Please can you contact me to discuss.  Thank you

Sorry this is still ongoing.

Can you please check the log at the top right of your screen as I've sent you a private message.

Once we've passed security we can then access your account and look towards a fix.
