It is saying it doesn’t recognise address or password

Do you have an active broadband account with Virgin Media?
If the unrecognised account is not the primary account (i.e. the account holder's email address) then sign in using its authentication credentials and confirm it is listed under My Virgin Media > My Profile > Manage accounts?
