For some reason I can no longer connect to my email account - I get the message above.
When prompted for my password I get the response "This account already exists
My account is very old - from blueyonder.co.uk days!

What happens if you try to log into the email account via VM webmail at:

Thanks for your reply - in the meanwhile I reset my Virgin password on all devices and email ac is now up and running again.
Not sure why it stopped working as nothing had changed, but probably a good idea to chage passwords regularly anyway!
