Can’t access virgin.net emails since 07/07/2024

I’ve not been able to access my virgin media (@virgin.net) account new emails since 07/07/2024. 
They have apparently now linked it to my broadband account. But I’m still having no luck. It’s an old email address so not sure whether that is the issue.

You can check whether the virgin.net email account is currently linked to your Virgin Media broadband account

  • Sign into your My Virgin Media account (that's the one where you view your VM bills and details of your VM package.)
  • Click on the "Account settings" box
  • Then click on " My VirginMedia account details"
  • Scroll down to, and  then click on, the line that says "Manage other Virgin Media accounts"
  • If your Virgin.net email account is listed then it means that it is linked to your broadband account.

If it's not listed then the virgin.net email account is not linked. You cannot link it yourself.

VM do seem to be having a purge on deleting old email accounts that are not linked to a live broadband account and that might be the reason you cannot access it.

Check out whether the virgin.net address appears in your My Virgin Media account and advise VM accordingly.
