Can't access Webmail via website - OK via POP3

As above really - I can access my email OK through POP3, my usual method, but when I try through the VM wesbite (to access the Spam folder, which is getting some important stuff in it recently), I get a message that says "Connection Error The service is not available right now". I've been trying since Saturday with no joy - any ideas what is going on please, and how can it be fixed?

Usually caused by a corrupt cookie or browser cache.  You could use a different browser or open an incognito/ in private browser window in your existing browser.

If this works then clear relevant virginmedia cookies in your main browser and try again.
