Hi I used to have a blueyonder account and I’ve been trying to access it but have been unsuccessful. I called virgin and they have advised me they have deleted that account. It isn’t my primary email account but I have stuff that I used that email address for and I now can’t gain access to anything to do with the blueyonder account. Is there any way of getting this email back active or a way around this problem?

The good news is that the accounts live. Now I'll explain what's happened.
You stated you had a break in service and went to Sky for a while. by rights, after 90 days the email profile associated with you broadband account SHOULD have automatically been deleted after 90 days. However sometimes these addresses live on as orphan accounts. Virgin Media do have purges of these accounts from time to time, but that doesn't appear to have happened fully yet,
The Forum Team can do what's called a "Move and Transfer" to link the old email profile with your current broadband account.
Note however that if you have added any email addresses to the new broadband account - you will lose those.
You'll need to sit tight. One of the Forum Team will get to this thread but it can take a few days to do so as they normally answer threads in date order.
