Blocked e-mails aren't

Tuning in

E-mail senders which I mark as blocked still have e-mails sent to the Spam folder - this means that I still have to spend time sifting and filtering these, so they may as well be in my Inbox for all the difference it makes. Why doesn't blocking dump the e-mail entirely, or is there another way to do this?

This is how the Blocklist is set up to work in Virgin Media Mail.

The Spam folder is regularly emptied by the system so once the email is in there you don't need to intervene.

You could create your own filter with a different action should you choose.  There have been a number of recent posts telling you how to do this.
