Attachments to email

Normally, when I receive an email with attachment, I get the option to View or download the attachment. My "view" option is still there as an option but when I click I just get a black screen. Any Ideas? The "download" option works ok.

Are you using a PC or a mobile device?

What OS are you using?

Are you using webmail or an email client for access?

Re: Attachments to email

Seeing the issue in webmail (desktop and mobile UI) when trying to view docx file type:
2020-05-22.jpeg
@GerryMack, for which file types are you seeing the issue occur; AFAICS image files, like png, appear not to be affected?

Hi All,

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We're going to need to escalate this to our relevant support teams to investigate further.

So that I can do this, if you're affected could you please send me a Private Message directly with your email address (that's affected) and also any relevant screenshots of the issue.

** To send a private message, just click on my name and select 'Send Message' on the right hand side. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON THIS PUBLIC THREAD **

Re: Attachments to email

@Lucy_B, the issue is not, as far as I am aware, account specific and the request for screenshot will just result in images similar to that posted earlier here.

FYI: browser's console shows the following error when this issue occurs:
