Access to virgin.net mailbox

I am trying to log into my virgin.net email account and I am getting the message that my mailbox is not available at the moment.

I am a virginmedia customer but my virgin.net email account is not associated to my virginmedia account.

I have had no notification that the mailbox would be de-activated.

I had the same thing happen before and Corey_C managed to get IT to resolve it. I have the ticket number that that was done under.

Is someone able to help me with this please?

You could try resetting the password yourself to see if that unlocks the account. Use this link https://my.virginmedia.com/forgot-details/password  Enter your virgin.net address and follow the prompts.

However, bear in mind what @Corey_C told you last time in this post  https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Forum-Archive/virgin-net-email-account    "I would advise that since it is a standalone account it will eventually be removed, so it may be best that while it is live, to migrate to another account." 

I can only reiterate that your virgin.net account is at grave risk of disappearing for good at any moment. There have recently been many posts on this forum from virgin.net email account users who have had that happen to them.

VM never seem to give any warning before they delete an "orphan" / standalone email account so to save yourself a lot of hassle you need to take Corey's advice.

I have tried that and it has worked.

Yes I will take the advice to migrate to another account.
