A ridiculous situation

Having been with Virgin for over 20 years!

and now over eighty and in \Lockdown I need my pc working 

but I have forgotten my password the website system does not work Oops something went wrong!!

and your system will not allow your call centre to reset the password!

now raised to second level!!!!

somebody will sort out in 5 days!!!!  Ticket no P00993201

I find that unacceptable could somebody please sort this out sooner.

You have an open priority ticket with VM. The five days suggested is the time in which the issue should be resolved. But VM techs are very busy at the moment. However the chances are it will be sorted sooner. The VM staff here will be able to check the status of the ticket but they will be unable to do anything to expedite. 

VM provide a residential e-mail service as a value added add-on to their main services. There is no guarantee given that the service will always be available.

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

Really sorry that you're having this issue, I can appreciate it's important to have access to all services at the moment. 

The IT ticket P009993201 is currently still open and the team will have things sorted as quickly as possible. 

Let us know if you need anything else in the meantime.

Very strange. There must be something about your account that is unusual. I'll raise this up the priority scale for the Forum Team because the least you could have expected is an explanation of what is going on. 

But I have a suggestion.  Try a password change in My Virginmedia and see whether that restores access.
