A deleted ntlworld.com email address is still forwarding messages
After someone accessed my ntlworld.com email address and password a couple of years ago, I changed the password and some months ago deleted the account. I received confirmation from the Webteam@virginmedia.com that I had succesfully deleted the account.
The ntlworld.com account was set up to forward messages to a different account with a different email provider. I am still receiving forwarded messages addressed to the deleted ntlworld.com account. Some are malicious and threatening.
I am unable to log in to the ntlworld.com account and don't understand how it is possible for messages to still be forwarded to me.
How can the ntlworld.com email account be permanently deleted?

Sometimes it seems the account deletion process does not fully complete. The Forum Team should be able to take a look at the account status for you and take whatever steps are necessary to complete the deletion. They will contact you via this forum when the get to this thread. It can take up to a week for them to get here.

Might the forum team be able to work their magic on a deleted email account of mine that is still forwarding emails?
Welcome Roger - although it isn't obvious (or easy to figure out), this community operates best if separate issues are kept in separate threads. Especially as this one is already marked as solved by the OP. The Forum Team (VM employees) will spot you better if you post your own thread.
