The wait is over - Euro 2020 (or should that be Euro 2021) hits our screens this week with the first of 51 matches as Italy face Turkey in Rome. The action intensifies over the weekend as Wales, England and Scotland get their campaigns under way. The tournament is being broadcast on ITV & BBC here in the UK, with the BBC carrying 4K UHD coverage via the iPlayer. Make sure you don't miss a minute of the action on Virgin Media, with our handy guide to all the ways you can enjoy the action.

Which channels are showing Euro 2020 matches?

All 51 games will be shown free-to-air in HD across either BBC or ITV with games kicking off at 2PM, 5PM and 8PM each day. The final will be shown simultaneously on both channels. Both channels will also show highlights of the day’s action each evening throughout the tournament. For a handy guide to when and where you can watch all the action, click here.

Can I watch on the move?

Absolutely. All games broadcast on ITV can be watched in the UK through our TV Go app. The app is free for all Virgin Media TV customers and can be downloaded onto Android, iOS devices, or you can use the TV Go web app on your PC or laptop. More information about the TV Go app can be found here. For games broadcast on BBC, these will be available to watch on the go through the BBC iPlayer app so make sure you have this downloaded too.

Can I watch in 4K?

The BBC have confirmed that they are planning to stream most of their live games in stunning 4K UHD via their iPlayer service. You can access the iPlayer app via your Virgin TV box, or download the app to your device to watch on the go.
